Review of Croupier (1998) by Clif C — 04 Nov 2009
Owens puts on his game face and faces gamers with games of thier own in this wildly dramatic role. I truely felt like Owens put life into a almost Camus type character and that left you wanting the worst to happen to him and cheer the whole way.
It's easy to forget the other actors in this film as they only seem to get in the way of Owens acting. He also pushes the story along with great narrative having me ponder as to why he hasnt been approached by pixar for a seedy villian type voice over.
A must for Owens fans and if your not already then maybe stick with books and leave the film industry to others.
