Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) by Sarah N — 10 Dec 2009
I *do* like this film. Just watched it again on the Big New Telly, struck again by how gorgeous some of the cinematography is. Grand old love story in the mythic / heroic tradition, nice tragic ending, complex characters, bit of humour & philosophizing, and some cracking fight scenes.
