Review of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) by Asher K — 27 May 2013

The choreography of the action scenes in this movie are spectacular. Fights look like dances, and include some of the more beautiful backdrops I have ever seen. I was also impressed by the creativity of these scenes, using the nature and setting in unique ways in the fights.

The plot is also complex, carries a good moral, and really gets the viewer invested in the characters. This movie blows me away, and is the best I have seen in the genre (with possible exception of Hero) to date.
