This is probably more of an 80s nostalgia piece for specific demographics who got it in its time. It's cheesey at a lot of parts and there are musical sequences that just ruin the vibe, but Amy Irving is very good, keeping a performance that feels effortlessly nuanced in its apprehension for love.
