Review of Crossfire (1947) by Allan C — 25 Mar 2009
Engrossing noir thrill with a great cast. I'll watch anything with Robert Mitchum or Gloria Grahame. Unfortunately, neither of them are in the film that much. Robert Ryan is fine in what was his breakout role.
And whenever I see Robert Young playing anything but a nice guy, I always like to imagine that he's really Jim Anderson from "Father Know's Best" and whenever he's off-screen that he's going home to Princess, Bud, and Kitten.
