Review of Cross of Iron (1977) by Charlie K — 09 Jun 2007
Good film about German soldiers on the eastern front. More movies like this need to be made compared to all the films done about the western front. Coburn does a great job as a battle hardened seagant sick of war.
I though Schell out shined him however, as the old prussian aristorcratic officer who sees war as a tool for him to achieve glory, not for what it actually was.
