Review of Cross of Iron (1977) by Marc L — 01 Oct 2007
A must-see for any Das Boot fans!!!
*off tangent, Peckinpah's anti-war epic kinda reminds me of life in the bigger picture, which is that like in war, everyday life, i.e. school & adolescence, can be a nihilistic battlefield. It forces you to reconsider what's really worth living, fighting and dying for, once all societal pretensions of honor or accolades goes out the window.
