Review of Cropsey (2010) by Eytan D — 08 Jan 2013
A fascinating and creepy look at a positively gothic lunatic asylum on Staten Island, but I was a bit disappointed at the filmmakers' approach. They spend a lot of time re-hashing stale material from a decades old child abduction case, instead of focusing on larger cultural questions about urban legends and how they form.
