Really creative- a vampire flick that never mentions vampires or has any of the genre tropes?!? also (and I'm also looking at jean-pierre jeunet here), ron perlman is a weird, weird dude to have as your muse.
the almodovar/cruz relationship makes much more immediate sense, but who am I to judge?
