Review of Cronos (1993) by David Z — 01 Aug 2008
This early work from Del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, etc..) really shows that he is one of the most prominent directors in the field right now. Also notable is the early acting work of Ron Perlman (aka Hellboy) and seeing how he and Del Toro meshed well even 15 years ago.
This movie is for those who love horror films that are both sad and nasty all the same.
