Review of Cronos (1993) by Chad S — 17 Feb 2011
Interesting debut film by Del Toro. While not as polished as say Devil's Backbone or Pan's Labyrinth it has moments of awesomeness but misses more than it hits in my opinion but when it does hits it really does well although comes off as a weird mixture of a Lovecraftian story meets a Hammer films productions.
All in all good but more than anything shows more potential for his future projects than anything else.
