Review of Crocodile Dundee II (1988) by Nick A — 28 Apr 2010
What was rowdily fun and charmingly amusing two years prior is lost here for lousy culture-shock satire and an equally appalling narc thriller. The first installment had just enough gangling wit to attain welcomed, comfortably fit entertainment without pressing its audiences' nerves or attention spans.
But "II" takes ill-advised -- and impolite -- liberties that will test those very things: Dundee's in New York for goodness' sake! All things said, yet, I suppose it could be worse. Mick could be in, let's say.
..Los Angeles.
