Loved this as a kid. A bit tough to get through the first 30 minutes, but after that its very fun. The numerous sub-plots also hurt the film, as a movie about just the Krites and the family would have been much much better.
Instead we get way too much of the police, Charlie, and the intolerably stupid bounty hunters. Anyway, the scenes with the critters are classic, and really save this movie. Some very boring sequences lace this very funny, and sometimes scary, b-horror flick.
Worth seeing.
