Hairy little space monsters invade Earth and start eating everythng in path. Unfortunately for the Brown family, their farm is first.
"Critters" is a well-done horror-comedy with sci-fi overtones. Although it is a litle slow iin the wind-up, once it gets going it turns into a near-perfect throwback to the monster movies of the 1950s, except with the advantage of a wittier script, character development, all-around good acting, and better special effects.
If you like classic monster movies (or if you liked the more recent film "Slither"), you're bound to enjoy 'Critters.".
