Review of Critters (1986) by Edgar C — 18 Apr 2013
Critters fails because it lacks the humor that movies like Gremlins and Leprechaun used to make up for the absurdness of the film. Critters takes itself a bit too serious and though it has a moment or two of humor it just isn't a comedy and it is definitely not a horror film.
Because it is unsure of what it wants to be Critters suffers from Stephen Hereks lack of vision.
