Review of Criss Cross (1949) by Jake V — 30 May 2007
Easily my favorite noir movie, genre veterans Lancaster (The Killers) and Duryea (Scarlet Street) help to enrich the plot, also starring De Carlo. In an age where these types of movies typically had plots from Pluto, this one is simple: its about deception and selfishness.
And it's damn good.
