Review of Criss Cross (1949) by Caleb M — 17 Dec 2007
A supurb film noir with some great performances, lots of tension and passion, a marvelous shootout that could have been shot today, and an ending that would have been way too dark for a standard Hollywood film.
(Spoiler) It's as if the villan of the film is more willing and capable of taking responsibility for his actions than the hero(s).
