Outstanding! What a brilliant post 'cold war' thriller... I must have seen this film 10-20 times and it gets better everytime! I wondered if it would be better than "The Hunt for Red October" and it is.
Gene Hackman & Denzel Washington are awesome and play thier roles superbly, you can really feel the tension between the two of them. Crimson Tide is a thrilling and action filled roller coaster ride from start to finish, never a dull moment! "This ship bears a proud name doesn't it Mr Cobb" "Very proud sir, USS ALABAMA sir".
