Review of Crimson Tide (1995) by Nathan C — 01 Sep 2008
After a garbled radio transmission leaves the crew of a nuclear submarine unsure of whether or not they're supposed to launch their nukes, philosophical differences explode into open mutiny. The story is contrived and the circumstances tremendously unlikely given the Navy's SOPs.
Washington and Hackman are fun to watch, and they're the only reasons this movie isn't more forgettable than it is.
