Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Aaron D — 09 Nov 2015
I was slow to watch Crimson Peak because of the mixed reviews but surprisingly I really enjoyed the film. Its not marketed correctly because this isn't really a horror film. Its more of a murder mystery romance with a few slasher elements towards the end.
Visually its stunning and all of the performances are good. It has a very creepy vibe for the entire film and I found the story very interesting all the way up to the end. This is worth a buy on bluray for the visuals alone!
