Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Shiftworker — 21 Aug 2016
Good modern take on a gothic movie. Full of undercurrent emotion. All that crimson is a tad over the top at times, but otherwise an indulgent way to wallow in some melodrama while waiting for the inevitable thrills and spills.
May well revisit this one, but it would have to be alone as the rest of the family would probably find the levels of brooding passion and the final scenes a little uncomfortable.
