Review of Crimson Peak (2015) by Ceniza11 — 17 Oct 2015
Like many people I think that the set, photography, and costumes were magnificent! Unfortunately, all that won't carry the movie. The audience even laughed a few times and I don't think the director would've been in on the joke.
The script and dialogue were weak to say the least. The protagonist did not seem to know what she was doing, as if it was her first time acting. The worst part was that it was marketed as a horror movie and really that was just a footnote.
Overall, highly disappointed especially for being a Guillermo del Toro movie.
