A mixture of spy movie and some sci fi thrown in. however, the pacing of the entire movie killed it. Another trailer they looked like it was giving us an action movie but more drama than actual action.
Costner is tough to say he was doing great in this but convincing none the less. I felt it was badly advertised when it was released and a bit more work on the movement of the film would of greatly improved the rating for me.
Not a terrible watch but like I've mentioned, the lulls are real.
