There are so many great standard Woody Allen movies, but this is a great non-standard. Not really a comedy, this movie shows the world in the most pessimistic light. Look for symbolism - such as the blind rabbi.
The picture shown of Woody and Landau shows the moment in which we find out the connection between the movie's two separate threads - both in the storyline and metaphorically.
