Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Michael D — 01 Nov 2008
Great characters and well told story. Woody Allen contemplates the place of religion and morality in a person's life and how the two don't always agree. What makes this an unusual film for Allen is the fact that the character he plays does NOT get the girl.
(Yeah, I know... happened in Annie Hall, too).
