Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Brendan S — 24 Nov 2008
I've been given a homework assignment by a friend to watch a bunch of Woody Allen films I have not seen before, which is why you are seeing these reviews. I have to say, this one was slow and took a while to get moving.
In the end, I just could not connect with the Martin Landau character, I just could not understand why he was taking his crime so hard after he asked for it to happen. It felt like he was forcing himself to feel guilty, I just didn't buy it.
