Big statement. This may very well be the best Woody Allen film i'v seen!
Allen works with all the biiig themes in this movie: love, life, religion, moral and justice. All combined so perfect in a movie, which gives a story about to men - Martin Landau(a performance of a lifetime! a man on a nervourse breakdown when its portrayed at its very best) and the great Allen funny ass hell as always typical well spoken, intelligent and funny guy) - with a fantastic uses of fragment of the past.
This movie is sad, funny, sweet, tragic and you sure got a lot to think of during and after the movie.
Cliffnote: Woody at his VERY best. If you like Match Point, you will enjoy this one alot.
Woody ones again made my day.
