Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Talin P — 12 Jun 2009
I can't tell if this film was schizoid or well-orchestrated; the two main plot threads are so at odds, it hardly seems like a single artistic entity. I THINK, but am not yet certain, that that bothered me a bit.
Regardless, these "most hetergeneous ideas... yoked by violence together" are both worthy stories, and well-told (and each, if there was ever any doubt, characteristically Woody-Allen-ish).
