Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Jeff B — 01 Oct 2009
Woody Allen imagines what it would be like if one could disconnect from the drama in their life and ends up achieving a perfect balance of comedy and drama."Match Point" was this, except it was set in London with a young cast and the comedy was completely left out.
I find this to be one of Woody's most powerful films. Completely smart and original.
