Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Ryan K — 19 Jul 2010
Woody Allen's satire on hypocrisy is sharp and downright shocking. Landau is wonderful as a man stuck between his image and moral values when facing a chance to kill. Alan Alda is terrific as an obnoxious TV producer that gets what he wants.
Pessimistic, yet surprisingly realistic.
