Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Felipe S — 15 Apr 2011
Classic Allen, but I thought this one misses his usual "edge". I loved the scenes with the elder philosopher and his usual Dostoyevsky references but there is something missing in the other scenes, mainly in the comedy. I didn't care much for most characters as well.
The ending is great, the family dinner scene too, but I would say it's for real fans only.
