Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Dan S — 23 Jul 2011
Great. The film weaves between two main plot threads and is in turns philosophical, dark, and really funny. Woody Allen has often wrestled with existential themes but perhaps never as blatantly or as successfully as here, evoking shades of Dostoyevsky.
