Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Alexander D — 05 Feb 2012
The two plot threads contrast but ultimately compliment each othr quite seamlessly, one is typical Allen humour, the other more reflective and from what I understand was a bit of a departure for him at the time.
Crime and Misdemeanours is one of the best, perhaps the best, post 1970's Woody Allen films that I have seen.
