Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Chris S — 31 May 2008
Woody Allen still manages to include some witty humor in this drama film. He also seems to have a pessimistic yet somewhat realistic philosophy and view of life. I guess sometimes doing good deeds don't give much rewards and unfortunately, sometimes people who commit unforgivable crimes just get away with what they have done.
In Allen's perspective, it seems to be all about luck, free will, and chances.
