Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Michael H — 28 Dec 2012
Maybe his best film. Every scene is perfect. Funny and dark. True behaviorist movie. Even the way Angelic Huston hugs Martin Landau when he comes into her apartment is pure art and revealing of the character's true nature and desires.
It's a mind jolting comedy with sticking moral situation's at every turn. This is what love is all about folks, what it turns into - the lengths people will go to protect what's theirs. The duality of man - Genius Genius Genius! Must be watched monthly.
