Review of Crimes and Misdemeanors (1989) by Daniel L — 01 Oct 2009
A tragic sort of comedy in which Woody Allen, once again, delivers. So many mishaps intertwine in this story that it leaves you wondering what conclusions all will come to. As usual, everyone plays off of each other very well in this and everyone seems to find themselves in quite a messy situation, only to all end as if nothing ever happened.
One thing leads to another and it all just wraps you up, as the viewer, in suspicion and curiosity. As the title suggests, this film is certainly filled with plenty of crimes and misdemeanors.
