Review of Cries and Whispers (1972) by Oliver E — 26 Mar 2013
It never ceases to amaze me the pure and organic agony that Bergman can express through his characters is something I have yet to see in any other film I've ever seen. Such a dark film, as are all of Bergman's films, but ends on a more positive note than most of his work.
Definitely not my favorite of his, but It's still astonishing in every sense of the word.
