Review of Cria! (1976) by Jeff B — 25 Aug 2009
Very good Spanish film starring Ana Torrent (from Spirit of the Beehive) as a girl who live with her sisters and aunt after her mom and dad died. The cast is great, especially Ana. I liked the scenes with her and her mom, it was well written the way you weren't quite sure what was real and what was imagined.
Nice night sequences as well. I might try to seek out more of the director Carlos Saura's films.
