Review of Cria! (1976) by Ciolacu G — 14 Sep 2015
" In Cría Cuervos, the three daughters represent the Spanish people who had lived under the repressive dictatorship, symbolised by their Nazi-sympathiser father. The film is really all about children and their loss of innocence by being corrupted by the adults around them; yet it is also about how their innocence causes them to not understand the full weight of concepts such as infidelity or death.
