Review of Creepshow 2 (1987) by Bryan E — 03 Sep 2010
Disappointing sequel to a great film. Creepshow 2 has many flaws with it, first of all Creepshow 2 only contains three stories, while Creepshow contained five. The stories presented in this film are not as interesting as the ones in the original. I would say the best story here would be The Raft. I thought it was the most creative story presented here. The last story: The Hitchhiker was a disappointment and was my least favorite here. I felt that George A. Romero and Stephen King could have created a more shocker of a story here for the finale like in the original Creepshow.
The acting here was not really good, and the dialogue I felt was cliche for this genre.
Overall Creepshow 2 can easily be passed, its not a requirement to see as the original Creepshow.
