I cant believe that a project with Romero, King and Savini is not an instant 5 stars. Unfortunately it is not up to par which is a crying shame.
Some (most) of the King tv/fiilm adaptations are better than this.
Its a bit too silly and tongue in cheek falls swiftly into self defacement, whether knowing or not.
Worth a watch for a slice of nostalgia but you won't be re watching anytime soon - it took me about 15 years.
