Review of Creepshow (1982) by Bill B — 26 Apr 2010
Recently gave this a re-watch, just popping over here to confirm or deny my original thoughts, which were:
Romero and King pay a bit of fun, over the top homage to the E.C. Comics of the 50's in this collection of tales that range from average to amazing.
The cast is stellar (love Adrienne Barbeau as the boozy harpy wife!) and the film moves along at a brisk pace from one gruesome set piece to another.
This is a lot of fun, and while I wish it might be arranged differently (it ends on a blah note for me), give it a look if you have never seen it.
