Review of Creepshow (1982) by Stephen L — 01 Aug 2010
An anthology movie is not something that is done very often and I don't think this one was executed very well. the stories get progressively better but they are never great. the best one is the 3rd one with Leslie Nielsen, it was perfect until the end were it just jumped the shark.
the problem with this movie is that the stories are just too corny and cheesy. although it is rich in 80's style, it also suffers from the crappy campiness of the 80's horror. sometimes campiness works (sam raimi), and in this case it doesn't.
