Review of Creepshow (1982) by Ross B — 28 Oct 2010
A fun anthology movie from two of the great masters of horror: Stephen King and George A. Romero. Watching this film, I couldn't help but think that this was just like Tales from the Crypt, the HBO show that would premiere 7 years later.
Each chapter has a twisted sense of humor and is straight out of a 40s horror comic. Some of the chapters are better than others. There are two that really stand out. The first is one starring Leslie Nielsen and Ted Danson about a killer and his comeuppance.
The second stars Hal Holbrook and is about a college professor who discovers an interesting crate underneath a stairwell. Either way this is still a movie that is worth a watch.
