Review of Creepshow (1982) by Ben E — 20 Mar 2011
This is Stephen King and George Romero's homage to 1950's EC comics. With the exception of "Father's Day", which is embarrassing, there's nothing really bad here. There's nothing exceptionally good either.
The more of these horror anthologies I watch, the more I appreciate the brilliance of the HBO "Tales from the Crypt" series. It's all in the execution. Avoid this, go straight for the series.
