Review of Creepshow (1982) by Joe D — 07 Sep 2012
Creepshow is a fun, little horror based anthlogy film released in the eighties by Stephen King and George Romero. There are five stories presented with varying degrees of horror and comedy. My favorite of the stories is called 'The Lonesome Death of Jordy Merrill', where a backwoods hillbilly portrayed uproariously by Stephen King discovers a meteor in his backyard that transforms everything into weeds.
That's what we're dealing with. Stories that require no brain power. Funny, sometimes scary and perhaps a bit dated, Creepshow is worth a watch on Halloween.
