Review of Creepshow (1982) by Thatcher B — 12 Aug 2010
Creepshow is a devilishly fun little fun that attempts to capture the Tales from the Crypt type horror comics on celluloid. Creepshow succeeds admirably due to a screenplay by Stephen King, who also stars in one of the five segments, creepy direction by George A.
Romero, and an all star cast including Ed Harris, Ted Danson, Leslie Nielsen, Hal Holbrook, and Adrienne Barbeau. Creepy yet laced with black humor, Creepshow is a twisted collection of tales that speaks directly to the horror lover.
