Review of Creepshow (1982) by Jason O — 14 Aug 2009
"Creepshow" is a few horror stories all put into one video. All of them are good, but there are two that really stand out. One of them is where Leslie Nielsen stars as a psychopath who kills people by burying them in the sand on the beach, while the ocean is supposed to drown them. In another one, Stephen King has to deal with a plant that just won't quit growing, and it takes over his house.
"Creepshow" isn't a horror movie like some of the blockbuster horror movies such as the Friday The 13th and The Nightmare on Elm Street series, it's a bunch of short horror stories that are based on comic books. The movie does a great job in every way. The stories are all mysterious and will keep you interested from start to finish. I recommend anybody who likes horror movies to get "Creepshow." NOTE: That was my Amazon review from the year 2000.
