Review of Creepshow (1982) by Carl M — 31 Jan 2013
A classic anthology of macabre tales going back to old comics. First off we have Ed Harris dancing his ass off in Father's Day, where a long dead patriarch returns because "I want my cake!!!".
You've got some lovely Barbeau and a monster in a crate. Stephen King in the weakest one about meteor fungus that grows everywhere. My personal fave involves Ted Danson versus Leslie Nielsen and burying bodies up to their heads in sand.
The one with the roaches is satisfying as well. One of the only horror anthology movies that is triumphant in each having decent and entertaining stories.
