Review of Creep (2014) by Darren B — 22 Aug 2015
Creep not only has eery realistic moments but spends time developing a villian that is manipulative and yet vulnerable. While silent creepiness and an occasional jump scare are the main horror aspects of this movies first 85% however the ending was twisted and kept enlarging with scale, scene affer scene of scenes that elevated and devolpied the previous scene.
Fantastic movie with great acting. Maybe the only flaw was the directing, while I understand from a found footage film there are certain limits. Found footage movies such as VHS and The Bay have creative and entertaining directing while still staying inside the confinments of found footage.
